Tamini Trasformatori Srl (GRUPPO TERNA SPA), a leader in the design and production of industrial, power, and special transformers, is looking for a candidate to join the Electrical Engineering Design department.

Scope of the position

The selected candidate will join the team of designers responsible for auxiliary panels and circuits on transformer machinery. This role will involve the functional and constructive design of protection, measurement, and control systems for large power and industrial transformers (steel, energy, rectification).

Main activities

• Analysis of contractual technical specifications
• Definition of machine accessories (protection, measurement, and control systems)
• Creation of multi-line electrical schematics using electrical CAD (EPLAN, and to a lesser extent CADElet)
• Design review with the client
• Creation of the material bill of materials
• Assistance to production and suppliers during the construction and wiring phase
• Assistance with factory testing and commissioning on-site
• Issuance of AS-BUILT documentation

The primary work location will be Ospitaletto (BS).

Internal/External Interfaces

The main interfaces will be with order planners, production resources responsible for electrical wiring on the machinery, suppliers, and the final customer.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has several years of experience in the electrical design and construction of automation panels and electrical systems on machinery. The candidate should specifically possess:

• Degree in Engineering (electrical/electronic) or a technical diploma in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of EPLAN and CADElet software
• Professional proficiency in the English language
• Teamwork skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Organizational and activity planning skills

Scope of the position

To track the compliance with the quality, safety standards of existing company services (maintenance, cleaning, concierge, reception and security) and support the facility manager in the management/coordination of the function.

Main activities

• Manage relations with plant managers, supporting and periodically updating them on the maintenance status of the buildings and the maintenance activities carried out.
• Manage the proper use and development of the company facility software, ensuring its correct use by users
• Coordinate and manage relationships with suppliers for inspections
• Collect and analyze estimates related to extraordinary maintenance activities and follow implementation until completion
• Carry out periodic inspections of the all plants to verify the correct execution of facility contracts and the general state of maintenance of buildings and plants, drawing up the related inspection or internal audit reports
• Drafting and keeping up to date company instructions / procedures in the facility area
• Prepare/support client audit and ISO 9001-14001-45001 certification activities
• Participate in regular coordination meetings

• Tamini Plant managers, function managers and department managers
• External references of the various company services and suppliers

Requirements:

The candidate must have:

• Diploma in technical specialization (mechanical, thermotechnical, mechatronic electrotechnical) or/and three-year degree in management engineering, safety engineering, business administration
• Previous experience in maintenance and/or safety
• Skills in the supervision of maintenance and facility services, plant engineering bases with a particular focus on the metalworking field, knowledge of safety procedures in the industrial world, aptitude for emergency management
• Good use of IT tools, mainly Office and Autocad package
• The willingness to carry out day visits to other company plants when necessary
