1916

The beginning

Tamini is founded in Milan, starting its business by producing oil-immersed transformers. This is the beginning of a long legacy of innovation in the energy sector.

1988-1995

The growth

The company continues to grow, partly thanks to several acquisitions, including Verbano Trasformatori S.r.l. (Novara), Officine Elettromeccaniche Lombarde S.r.l. (Legnano) and Veneta Trasformatori Distribuzione S.r.l. (Valdagno).

2000

The USA Market

The Group begins to expand abroad. Tamini Transformers USA marks the opening to the North American market and the challenges set by a new competitive landscape.

2014

The acquisition by Terna Group

Joining the Terna Group gives further solidity to the Company, starting a new phase of growth and strengthening its role in the national energy sector and abroad.

2021

The New organization

Tamini joins Terna Energy Solutions, a company that offers specialized solutions in the Energy and Connectivity sectors, further consolidating its commercial presence in Italy, also thanks to the incorporation of two other plants in Ospitaletto (BS) and Rodengo Saiano (BS), and helping to complete Terna Energy Solutions’ commercial offer.
